Lifespan is 18 months of near daily use

I bought this in November 2023. In May 2025 it started breaking apart - I think the bristles finally gave out after so much use. However, I'm likely going re-buy it. It straightens my thick wavy hair faster than my HSI Flat Iron, although the flat iron had a way longer lifespan. But I guess in this era of planned obsolescence subpar products, 18 months is a pretty decent life for almost daily use.One of my favorite features of this brush is that it turns off after a time so I can't accidentally leave it on all day. Since I have so much hair it usually times out before I'm done straightening, but it's easy to start it up again and keep going.

Gets the job done

So i really do love this product. Im a natural girly who does not put heat in her hair often. My natural hair is very thick but soft. I blowdried my hair FIRST with a blowdrying brush, and then went over my hair with the 2nd highest setting (was afraid to use the highest heat). I feel like by the end, it gave my hair a “blow out” feel and so if i really wanted it silky straight, id probably just need to pass over my hair one good time with a nice flat iron. However, I really just enjoyed being able to wear my hair in a nice sleek ponytail. I saw lots of people say it didn't hit their roots well but it definitely worked for me! I might try the highest setting next time but i think this is a great product for someone who wants to make their hair more manageable rather than for a long-term flat ironed style. It wont give you thatsilk press lol

Ok I bought this because I was trying to simplify doing my hair and keeping up with life especially since I have 4 little ones. On the after you will see my hair on the left done with LustrePass, it's more of a natural straightening and it doesn't smell like a flat iron, the texture doesn't feel as "Flat" which is ok it adds volume. I’ve had brushes in the past that straighten as well as a normal straightener, but I figured I would try the brush and I could always return it if I didn’t like it. Well, I absolutely love it! This is a before and after picture of blow drying and then straightening. I did put a smoothing spray on my hair and also I didn’t take as much time to go as slow and section it off as much as I could have so it could actually be a little smoother and straighter probably if I took more effort. The only thing I don’t like is that the buttons are right where you need to hold the tool to use it and it’s easy to accidentally lower the heat or turn it off . I’ve found this with most products like this though . Not a big deal just have to make sure you don’t accidentally change the heat or turn it off . Super happy with it though. Awesome product And love all the accessories that come with it !

So easy and quick to use!

This thing works! My hair is not permed or chemically processed. The first photo is after a wash and condition and the second is after using this brush (excuse the wild split ends, that's not their fault, that's my postpartum drama). This thing gets hot quickly and is super easy to use. I didn't make super small sections so I had to pass it through my hair about 3 or 4 times to get this result. Overall it took me about 30-40 minutes to get through all my hair. The package came with the metal comb, headband, and two Hair Gloss refills. The chrome finish looks really premium. I just need to figure out the best way to clean the bristles. So far I've used a cotton swab to wipe it down and remove any hair that broke off and got left behind by accident (again, that's postpartum's doing). It feels like it's built to last. Couldn't wait to try this straightener! Previously, I would put a brush along the side of my straightener. This handy little device saves that step. Love that it is lightweight and has temperature control. My hair is combination super coarse mixed with finer hair and naturally curly. I tried a few sections on the 2nd heat setting and it did very well. Didn't want to start too high.
