Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, like most online stores, we use cookies and pixels from advertising partners (such as Meta) to show you our ads on other sites and to measure how they perform. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar laws in other U.S. states, this may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information, or as "targeted advertising." You have the right to opt out.

How to opt out

  1. On this browser: go to our Your Privacy Choices page (also linked at the bottom of every page) and submit the opt-out. Your choice is saved for this browser and device. If you clear cookies or use another browser or device, please opt out again there.
  2. Automatically, with Global Privacy Control: if your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser.
  3. For your account and email: email privacy@hairecover.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share" and the email address you use with us. We will apply your opt-out to data linked to that email, including customer lists used for advertising.

What happens after you opt out

We will stop sharing your personal information with advertising partners for targeted advertising from that browser or linked to your email, within 15 business days. You may still see ads from us that are not based on your personal information. We will still use service providers to fill your orders and run the Site. You will not be treated differently or charged a different price for opting out.

Sensitive and health information

We do not use information about your health, including the specific hair and scalp care products you view or buy, for targeted advertising without your consent. See our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out on your behalf. We may ask for written proof that the agent is authorized.
